1. What LiveCatch is
LiveCatch ("the app") is a software tool that records publicly accessible live streams to the user's own computer for personal, non-commercial use, in the same way a video recorder records a broadcast. The app is provided by LiveCatch ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the app or this website you agree to these terms.
2. Your responsibilities
You are solely responsible for what you record and what you do with recordings. You must only record content you are entitled to record for personal use, comply with the terms of service of each platform you use the app with, and respect copyright and the rights of streamers. You must not redistribute, re-upload, sell or publicly perform recordings of other people's content without their permission. You must not use the app to circumvent access controls, paywalls or DRM.
3. Licence
We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app. The free plan may be used indefinitely. A Pro licence key may be activated on up to two computers you own or control and may not be shared or resold. We may revoke keys obtained fraudulently or shared publicly.
4. Purchases and refunds
Pro licences are sold through our merchant of record, Lemon Squeezy, whose terms also apply to the purchase. You may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase by emailing support. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; cancel any time from the link in your receipt.
5. No warranty
The app depends on third-party platforms that change without notice; a stream that recorded yesterday may not record today. The app is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for missed recordings, lost data or any indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months.
6. Trademarks
YouTube, Twitch, Kick, TikTok, Facebook and other names are trademarks of their owners, used only to describe compatibility. LiveCatch is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any of them.
7. Changes
We may update these terms; the date above shows the current version. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
