Windows says "Windows protected your PC"?

That's SmartScreen warning about a new, not-yet-common program – it appears for most small independent apps until Microsoft has seen enough installs. Click More info, then Run anyway. You only see it once. If your antivirus quarantines the file, restore it and add the LiveCatch folder to its exclusions.

First run

  1. Unzip the folder and open LiveCatch.exe.
  2. Paste a live link (or a channel link) and click Add & Watch.
  3. Recordings land in Videos\LiveCatch – change it with the Change button.
Tip: if a stream ever fails to record after a platform update, double-click get_tools.bat in the app folder. It refreshes the recording engine in seconds, no reinstall.
