Never miss a live stream again.
Paste the link. LiveCatch waits until the stream starts, records every minute in the background and saves a clean, seekable MP4 to your PC. No browser tab, no babysitting.

A scheduled YouTube stream, a Twitch or Kick channel, a TikTok LIVE. Channel links work even when nothing is live yet.
It waits
LiveCatch checks quietly every few seconds and starts recording the moment the stream goes live – even at 3 am.
You get an MP4
When the stream ends the file is finished, fixed for smooth seeking and ready to watch, cut or archive.
Built for streams you can't be there for
The paid webinar at work hours. The streamer in another time zone. The summit session you'll want to rewatch. LiveCatch was built for exactly those.
Waits for scheduled streams
Shows "starts in 2h 05m" and records at the exact moment. No alarm clocks, no refreshing.
Watch a channel
Turn on channel watching and every stream that channel does gets recorded, forever. Pro.
From the very beginning
Joined late? YouTube streams rewind to the start; Twitch pulls the full VOD after the stream ends. Pro.
720p to 4K
Pick the quality per recording. The app tells you the real resolution it saved, not a guess.
Crash-safe
Records into a crash-safe container while live. If the PC dies mid-stream, everything up to that second is still playable.
Private by design
Everything happens on your PC. No account, no cloud, nothing uploaded anywhere.
Free for everyday use. Pro when it's your job.
Free: YouTube & Twitch, two recordings a day, 720p. Pro: every platform, unlimited recordings, up to 4K, channel watching and record-from-start.
Questions people ask first
Does it open a browser or slow down my PC?
No. LiveCatch talks to the platform directly and hands the stream to a small recorder process. It uses about as much CPU as playing the stream would, and far less than screen-recording.
Do I have to keep the app open?
Close the window and it keeps recording from the system tray. The PC must stay on and awake (set Windows sleep to "never" for the evening).
Which platforms work?
YouTube, Twitch, Kick, TikTok LIVE and Facebook Live have dedicated support. Many other sites work through the same engine – see the docs.
Is there a Mac version?
Not yet – a native macOS app is in development and will use the same free plan and Pro licence. Get notified when it ships.
Is this allowed?
LiveCatch is a personal recording tool, like a DVR. Recording for your own use is what it's for; sharing or re-uploading other people's streams is not, and you're responsible for the content you record. Full text in the terms.
