Privacy policy

The short version

LiveCatch runs entirely on your computer. It has no account system and no analytics inside the app. Your recordings, links and settings never leave your PC.

What the app sends over the internet

• Stream requests go directly from your PC to the platform you're recording (YouTube, Twitch, etc.), exactly as a browser would. We don't see them.
• Licence check (Pro only): when you activate a key and at each launch, the app sends the key and a hashed, non-reversible machine identifier to our licence server (license.getlivecatch.com, hosted on Cloudflare) to confirm the licence is valid. No personal data is sent by the app.
• Engine updates: get_tools.bat downloads the open-source recording tools from their official GitHub releases.

What this website collects

The site is served by Cloudflare, which keeps standard, aggregated traffic statistics (country, page, browser type) and protects the site from abuse. We don't run advertising trackers. If you email us, we keep the conversation to help you.

Purchases

Payments are processed by PayHere (payhere.lk), a licensed Sri Lankan payment gateway. They collect the name, email and card details needed to complete the order under their own privacy policy; card numbers never reach us. We receive your name, email, the plan bought and the order reference so we can issue your licence key, provide support and process refunds. Licence records (key, plan, expiry, activated-PC identifiers, email) are stored on our licence server on Cloudflare and deleted on request.
