Privacy policy

The short version

LiveCatch runs entirely on your computer. It has no account system and no analytics inside the app. Your recordings, links and settings never leave your PC.

What the app sends over the internet

• Stream requests go directly from your PC to the platform you're recording (YouTube, Twitch, etc.), exactly as a browser would. We don't see them.
• Licence check (Pro only): when you activate a key and at each launch, the app sends the key and a hashed, non-reversible machine identifier to Lemon Squeezy to confirm the licence is valid. No personal data is sent by the app.
• Engine updates: get_tools.bat downloads the open-source recording tools from their official GitHub releases.

What this website collects

The site is served by Cloudflare, which keeps standard, aggregated traffic statistics (country, page, browser type) and protects the site from abuse. We don't run advertising trackers. If you email us, we keep the conversation to help you.

Purchases

Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. They collect the name, email and payment details needed to complete the order under their own privacy policy. We receive your email and order details so we can provide support.
